Before analyzing at&t’s internet outage map, make sure that there is no problem with your external device, such as your phone. If you are having problems with your AT&T device and are calling technical support for help, think about it and make sure that configuring your phone does not restrict the network connection.

On the AT&T website, you will find the technical support team and a troubleshooting section for certain phones and devices. You will also find out when there is a ATT power outage today and whether you are having problems connecting to the AT&T network. Here are some steps you need to try.

Please make sure that your device configuration is correct and that the airplane mode is deactivated and the data connection is activated. Apart from this, check whether you have set the network mode in the auto settings

  • In your notification, click on the mobile data and activate it
  • Turn off your device for 15 seconds, then turn it on again
  • Remove all types of housings and covers from the device

Make sure you check your device settings to make sure airplane mode is turned off and data roaming is turned on. In the network settings, the network mode should be set to Auto.

It often becomes easy to fix the problem and restore connectivity to your AT&T device, and the previously viewed internet outage map may not have appeared. However, if you find that it is not your phone’s setting that is causing network problems, you should look for an outage card near you.

  • The ATT outage today was triggered by the intense cold
  • Michigan residents have used Twitter to find out when the service should be restored
  • Customers in Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Livingston are affected

AT&T customers across Detroit are facing telephone and internet outages caused by the intense cold weather that hit the region on Tuesday night.

It wasn’t clear when the outage started, but some customers reported that the problems started on Wednesday morning.

Why is at&t DSL internet down

Some AT&T customers experienced a service outage on Monday with their AT&T U-Verse television and Internet services. According to AT&T, the failure was due to a lightning strike that hit a company facility in the Dallas region.

“Damage took place by fire at one of our branches can influence the ATT Internet service of some of our customers in the Dallas area. We are committed to restoring the service as soon as possible,” said the account announcement shared with many AT&T customers asking about the failure.

Customers also reported the outage to the Down Detector website on Monday. Within a few hours, thousands of reports were piling up on the website. The reports were related to the Internet, telephone, and lack of network or reception. On the internet outage map on Down Detector, it could be seen that the majority of the reports came from the Dallas area as well as from the Los Angeles area and some reports from other places such as New York.

The city of Richardson, Texas, about 15 miles north of Dallas, released a statement on the incident Monday. The fire was in an electrical room, but the city said the cause of the fire had yet to be determined, although AT&T said on Twitter that the lightning had hit the facility.

The firefighters left the source of the fire at 12:15 p.m.

It was unclear when the issues caused by lightning and fire would be fixed and when users would start using their Internet and TV services again.

This is an evolving story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
